Below is a list of vaccines required for us to provide any services to your dog. If you have any question about the vaccines or have proof of exemption from your vet, please feel free to reach out to us or send us the additional information from your veterinarian. None of these vaccines are optional without a note from a licensed veterinarian.
Required by law. A fatal but preventable viral disease that can spread to people and pets if they are bitten or scratched by a rabid animal.
Also know as Canine Infectious Tracheobronchitis is a highly contagious respiratory disease. Spread through airborne droplets, direct contact (nose or tongue) or contaminated surfaces (food or water bowls). Can be severe in puppies younger than six months.
A core vaccine essential for your dogs safety. This will appear on your dogs vaccine records as DHLPP, DHLP, DA2P, DA2PP or similar.
D: Canine Distemper Virus (CDV)
H or A2: Infectious Canine Hepatitis (ICH)
L: Leptospirosis (a bacteria infection spread through urine)
P: Parainfluenza Virus (viral disease)
P: Parvovirus (affects the GI tract causing severe vomiting, diarrhea and dehydration. Puppies are at the highest risk.)
Similar to Bordetella in the way it transmits.
Canine influenza (also known as dog flu) is a contagious respiratory disease in dogs caused by specific Type A influenza viruses known to infect dogs. These are called “canine influenza viruses.”
There are two different influenza A dog flu viruses: one is an H3N8 virus and the other is an H3N2 virus. Canine influenza A (H3N2) viruses are different from seasonal influenza A (H3N2) viruses that spread annually in people. (Source: CDC)
